Clean Burning Candles
Puget Sound Candle Company is proud to offer candles you can enjoy with peace of mind.
We use high quality ingredients and small batch artisan techniques. Our certified clean fragrance oils come from amazing reputable suppliers. These oils are free of mutagens, carcinogens, reproductive, organ, and acute toxins.
Coconut Soy Wax
Puget Sound Candle Company candles are made with luxurious coconut soy wax. Coconut wax blends are favored for their superior scent throw when lit, and smooth, even appearance.
Coconut wax is easily extracted and eco-friendly. While no candle is completely soot free, coconut waxes produce very minimal soot. This wax provides a slow, clean burn.
Double Wick
Our candles are double wicked with high quality, core-less, flat braided wicks that provide an optimum burn, which is consistent with minimal mushrooming and soot.
Rigorous testing has proven my coconut soy wax with two wicks provides amazing scent throw and a smooth, even, slow burn.
About Me
My name is Megan, I am the one woman candle maker & founder of Puget Sound Candle Company!
I began making candles in the summer of 2020 after purchasing a mass produced candle that was tunneling and gave off no scent while lit. Out of curiosity, I Googled "how are candles made?"
Instantly hooked, I watched hundreds of videos and took copious notes for months before getting the nerve to pour my first four candles that I gifted to friends just for fun. They absolutely loved them and asked if I sold them. I hadn't considered selling them until they planted the idea in my mind!
Now I am approaching three years in business, and I feel so fortunate as candle making is my passion and it brings me so much joy & peace.
My personal favorite candle scents include Mango & Coconut Milk, Beach Bum, and Northern Lights.
When I'm not pouring candles, I enjoy horseback riding, drawing, painting, gardening, and cooking, and I am a licensed realtor at Manette Real Estate Co., which I absolutely love, they are such a community driven and caring brokerage.
Nice to meet you!
